Fremantle midfielder Neil Erasmus has revealed why he turned down rival interest to commit to the Dockers for the next three years.
As confirmed on Monday, Erasmus has re-signed with the Dockers until at least the end of 2028 after turning down interest from the Western Bulldogs and cross-town rivals West Coast.
The 21-year-old found his feet at the AFL level in 2025, playing a career-high 16 games, including the final six, where he had a strong end to the season with 18 touches and six tackles in the elimination final defeat to Gold Coast.
“There was a bit of interest elsewhere which was documented, but I’ve got so much here in Perth and in WA,” Erasmus said.
