Boeing could face a $3.1 million fine from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
On Friday, Sept. 12, the FAA proposed the multi-million dollar fine against the corporation as a penalty for manufacturing defects. More specifically, the defects that caused the explosive decompression on the Alaska Airlines 737 Max, according to a FAA news release .
