TOWN OF MANLIUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- One person was killed in a motorcycle crash on Kirkville Road North on Saturday, September 13.

The Town of Manlius Police were sent to the 6100 block of Kirkville Road North for the report of a motorcycle crash. At the scene, officers found a man who had died due to a collision off the roadway.

After an early investigation, police believe the accident happened before 9:00 p.m. and that the driver was heading north on Kirkville Road North.

The driver left the roadway on the east shoulder and was later found not far from his motorcycle, police said.

Police will identify the victim once the family has been notified.
