Three people were killed and three more were injured in a crash Friday night on Interstate 64 involving four tractor-trailers and two cars.

Kentucky State Police said the Versailles Police Department called troopers to I-64 near mile-marker 61 in Woodford County between the Midway and East Frankfort exits, according to TV station WKYT.

The crash ignited a large fire on the roadway. KSP reported that two of the four tractor-trailer drivers were killed in the crash, as well as one person in a passenger car.

All lanes of I-64 West were shut down overnight, and didn’t reopen until about 7:15 a.m. Saturday.
