Rory McIlroy has sent yet another warning to Team USA ahead of the Ryder Cup.

The Northern Irishman will lead Team Europe’s charge in New York later this month, and is warming up in terrifying form.

A Masters winner in April, McIlroy had a summer let off before striking back with a statement Irish Open victory to start September, and now in his final round before heading to the US he’s sent another message.

His final round at the BMW PGA Championship the 36-year-old’s score of 65 was a massive seven under par.

On top of that, he finished it off in style, with his final swing on the 18th an outrageous eagle from range at the par five Wentworth hole.

McIlroy walked off to applause and cheers with bigger tasks upcoming in two weeks time.
