Owen Caissie suffered a concussion on this play in Saturday’s game [VIDEO].

Caissie seemed okay for a time, staying in the game for two more innings and taking another at-bat. Willi Castro replaced him in right field in the sixth inning.

Post-game testing diagnosed a concussion and Sunday, the Cubs placed Caissie on the seven-day concussion list. There are specific protocols he’ll have to pass in order to return.

Kevin Alcántara, who was optioned to Triple-A Iowa Saturday when Caissie was called up, didn’t get close to Des Moines — he wasn’t in Saturday’s Iowa lineup — and is being recalled to replace Caissie on the active roster.
