DALLAS (KTVT) - An unspeakably violent crime played out on Wednesday in Dallas.

A man attacked another man with a machete and used it to decapitate him.

On Wednesday morning, something nobody could have expected took place at the Downtown Suites Motel in Dallas.

A man told KTVT he witnessed the beheading of the victim.

“Ma’am, this is not normal to happen,” he said.

According to the arrest affidavit, police obtained video that shows 37-year-old Yordanis Cobos Martinez grab a machete and start stabbing 50-year-old Chandra Nagamallaiah multiple times.

The victim is seen fleeing down the parking lot towards the front office, where his wife and son were.

“He chased him from 108 all the way to the office. The man was trying to get into the office to tell his family,” he said.
