North Bay Police Emergency Response Team (ERT) is currently in an active situation at an apartment building on Rose Avenue, located off Algonquin Avenue this afternoon.

The Nugget contacted North Bay Police, however haven’t received a response as of 2 p.m.

Residents in the area tell The Nugget Emergency Response Team police officers are currently going apartment unit to apartment unit.

“Police have their guns drawn,” said a resident watching from a nearby residence.

Another bystander says police are removing some residents from the apartment building, located at 515 Rose Avenue.
