With 1:46 remaining in the first quarter against the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen suddenly rushed off the field while removing his helmet.

Allen ran off the field and appeared to be bleeding from his nose.

The injury occurred on a designed quarterback running play during which Allen attempted to carry the ball up the middle and through the Jets’ defense. Unfortunately for him, he caught the worst of it with an awkward tackle.

A Jets tackler inadvertently hit him in the face while he went to the ground.

A camera would soon show his nose being worked on and possibly being put back in place by medical personnel.

Before leaving the game, Allen had thrown three completions for 14 total yards.

Mitch Trubisky replaced Allen while he was being examined on the sideline.
