A popular amusement park in Missouri was evacuated after fears allegedly arose that shots were being fired.

On Saturday, Sept. 13, off-duty officers received a report of an individual hearing “possible shots fired” at the Worlds of Fun amusement park in Kansas City, according to the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD).

An evacuation was issued at the theme park, as police and other agencies made their way to the scene, authorities said.
