EMPORIA, Kan. (KAKE) - Court proceedings may resume next month for a case involving charges against five people accused of meth distribution between Kansas and Mexico.
KVOE radio reports that at a hearing this week, Judge Holly Teeter approved a 30-day continuance so attorneys for Troy Wagaman, Jesus Cruz-Rodriguez, Moises Cervantes-Sanches, Omar Villa-Carranza and Tiburcio Ayala-Rangel can review discovery documents from prosecutors. A status hearing is scheduled for October 21.
