KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Multiple Chiefs players wore shirts in support of suspended teammate Rashee Rice prior to their home opener against the Eagles Sunday.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Tyquan Thornton sported warmup t-shirts with photos of Rice on them, along with the phrase “Free 4.”
The NFL suspended Rice for six games at the start of the season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
The star wideout won’t be eligible to play until Oct. 19 when the Chiefs host the Raiders.
