POMEROY, Ohio (WSAZ) - One person was flown to the hospital after a motorcycle collided with a car Saturday morning.
The accident happened along State Route 143 near Wolf Pen Road in Salisbury Township.
According to Pomeroy Fire Department Chief Derek Miller, the driver of the motorcycle was transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital by helicopter and was in serious condition. There is no update on the driver’s current condition.
Chief Miller also said the driver of the car was taken to the local ER and was discharged.
Meigs County EMS, the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Pomeroy Fire Department, and MedFlight all responded to the scene.
