LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was shot at a club in Louisville's California neighborhood early Sunday morning.

Sgt. Matthew Sanders, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said in a news release that officers responded to the club, "Legends" in the 2500 block of W. Broadway at 1:12 a.m. on a reported shooting.

According to police, there was a large crowd that scattered from the shooting. Officers found an 18-year-old man who had been shot in the leg.

He was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive.
