Sunday's Kansas City game was a highly-anticipated one as the Chiefs squared off against the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. The two teams last met in that Super Bowl championship game, with Jalen Hurts and the Eagles easily running away with the title.
As is always the cast at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, the home crowd was beyond excited for the rematch. But there was one potential noticeable absence on Sunday afternoon as pop star Taylor Swift wasn't seen as she usually was at Chiefs home games in the past couple of years. Swift and KC tight end Travis Kelce got engaged in early August after two plus years of dating, and the couple made their first outing after the proposal to Arrowhead Stadium to watch Kelce's alma mater Cincinnati take on Nebraska.
Before the game on Sunday, Kelce sat down with Fox's Erin Andrews to discuss a handful of topics, including his nervousness before proposing.
With the Chiefs opening the season in Brazil last weekend, this was the first opportunity for Swift to check out a game in Kansas City. It's a busy time of year for the 14-time Grammy winner as her twelfth studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl, comes out on October 3.
UPDATE: Swift might actually be at the game, potentially having entered behind a large rolling screen.
It's not official that it's the singer, but it could be possible that she made a sneaky arrival early in the game. The audio in the video lines up with Saquon Barkley scoring an Eagles' touchdown at the end of the first quarter. She has yet to be seen in the suite.
