BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police Department is warning residents to keep their doors locked after responding to multiple robberies.

The department said in a Sunday news release that officers responded to multiple burglaries District B (Downtown) and District D (West Side and North Buffalo) on Saturday night.

BPD is warning residents to "remain alert, lock doors and windows, use exterior lights when possible, and call 911 immediately if you see or hear anything suspicious."

The department has said that detectives are investigating the incidents, and say that they may be connected, however the exact number of incidents has not been released.
