DETROIT -- Does everyone feel better yet?

Last week, the offense lacked life both passing and running the ball, struggled in the red zone and had communication issues on the offensive line.

And the defense responded by giving the offense a ton of chances. They forced a fumble, intercepted an errant pass and got the Bears off the field on two big fourth-down attempts en route to the blowout.

The Detroit Lions said those issues were corrected this week in practice. And, well, they turned out to be right in that regard. The pass rush even showed signs of life. And their all-around showing in their 52-21 win over the Chicago Bears should have fans feeling much, much more optimistic moving forward.
