COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Colorado Springs Utilities said they were responding to a power outage in the Northgate area on Sunday.

They said the outage was reported a little before 3 p.m. in the area. It impacted nearly 1,500 people in neighborhoods north of New Life Church.

Utilities posted about the outage on social media, asking drivers in the area to treat dark intersections as four-way stops.

As of 3:19 p.m. officials said they did not know the cause of the outage yet.
