ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has fired an employee following social media comments regarding the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
The hospital was made aware of the comments and terminated the employee.
“Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is aware of inappropriate comments made on social media by an employee yesterday. This type of rhetoric is not acceptable for Children’s employees and violates our social media policy,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
The contents of those comments have not been made public.
