SPOKANE, Wash. – Patients and visitors to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center should prepare for a traffic detour starting Sept. 15, as part of the hospital's main drive will close for construction.

The closure will affect access to the main entrance, with all vehicles rerouted through 8th Avenue near the Center for Faith and Healing via the Outpatient Health Center.

The construction is part of a project to improve campus safety and accessibility.
