CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio --Kol Israel Foundation marks its 64th annual fall memorial 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 to honor and remember the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. The memorial will be held at the organization’s national memorial located inside Zion Memorial Park, 5461 Northfield Rd. in Bedford Heights. Co-sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, the commemoration is held yearly on the Sunday between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

The ceremony will include the lighting of six candles by Louise Gips, a survivor of the World War II Holocaust, second-generation descendants Joe and Steve Cala, third-generation descendants Bradley and Meghan Simon, educator Arnie Milner, community partners the Bramson Family and Bedford Heights Mayor Phillip Stevens.
