EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Josh Allen had to cycle back to his high school days in Firebaugh, California to recall the last time he had a gusher of a bloody nose like the one he incurred Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium.

“I mean last time it was like high school in basketball,” Allen said with a smile following the Buffalo Bills’ 30-10 victory over the New York Jets . “Basketball hit me in the nose or something. Yeah, it was a weird one. It's still kind of going on, but we'll be alright.”

Allen coming off the field late in the first quarter surely scared the heck out of Bills fans, but the fact that he was running, and not holding his arm, shoulder or elbow, was obviously a good sign.
