LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A hot airmass remains in control of the weather over much of the Mississippi valley and Great Plains. An upper level low with showers and thundershowers is moving south, west of the river. It is too far to our west to bring showers to our area. Our only shower chances this week will be with any isolated showers that could develop with the sea breeze each afternoon. Chances are low, most places will stay dry, I will watch the radar.
