FORT WAYNE, Ind. – A local man’s backyard has become the site of a world record.
Alex Babich’s sunflower, named Clover, has been confirmed by Guinness as the tallest sunflower ever, standing at an impressive 35 feet.
Babich, a Ukrainian immigrant, began growing sunflowers seven years ago as a tribute to his homeland. This remarkable achievement is the result of years of dedication and experimentation.
His work not only sets a new world record but also highlights his enduring connection to Ukraine.
