CINCINNATI, Ohio — Bengals backup quarterback Jake Browning called head coach Zac Taylor the “voice in the helmet.”

Even after throwing his third interception of Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars with his team down by three, the voice inside Browning’s helmet stayed calm.

It didn’t matter that the third pick came in the final minutes when Jaguars linebacker Devin Lloyd stepped in front of a pass intended for Andrei Iosivas and returned it to the Bengals’ 12-yard line with 5:22 to go and Jacksonville leading, 27-24.

The calm was still there.
