BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - After a cooler than average start to the month of September, temperatures will start to climb back up above average this coming week. Unfortunately for the drought across over 60% of the state, dry conditions will be abundant this coming week, with precipitation chances on the lower side.

This evening, a few spot showers continue mostly to the SE of the interstate. Skies are on the cloudier side with areas of spot showers, but elsewhere, conditions are starting to lighten up. Temps remain in the 50s and 60s.

Most clouds and all showers will dissipate by midnight, with mostly clear skies expected into tomorrow morning. Low temps will vary from the upper 30s to mid 50s. Some patchy morning fog is possible. NNW gusts will reach 15-20 mph.
