LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A woman has been murdered Sunday morning in South Jefferson County.

Around 6:53 a.m. LMPD officers responded to a home near Waverly Park in the 4100 block of Autumn Way for reports of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they found a woman who was suffering cuts to the throat. Medical professionals pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
