SPENCERPORT, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester had a blistering summer season, and all that heat may have negatively impacted the pumpkin harvest, making growing pumpkins difficult for the autumn season.

Cobble Creek Farm in Spencerport is a popular spot for all things spooky. From a family-friendly pumpkin patch to a haunted hayride, ownership says fall is the farm's best time of year.

“People love Halloween," JoAnn VerHulst, office manager of Cobble Creek Farm, said. "We try to put a little bit of fun into it, but it's spooky. It's creepy, it's dark. But our team has does a really, really good job at our haunted hayride.”
