ARLINGTON, Texas — An armed robbery Sunday evening in Arlington led to a police chase that ended in a crash in Fort Worth, police said.

Around 5:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at an apartment complex in the 3300 block of Cypresswood Trail, according to the Arlington Police Department. The suspects allegedly stole money from the victim at gunpoint before driving off.

The victim provided officers with a description of the vehicle, which was later spotted traveling on I-30, police said. Officers attempted to stop the car, but the driver refused to pull over, prompting a chase that continued into Fort Worth, APD said.
