SPOKANE, Wash. — On Sunday in North Spokane, the East Washington Freedom Alliance held a public rally in support of political activist Charlie Kirk.

The event was part of a growing wave of gatherings across the Inland Northwest honoring the Turning Point USA co-founder, who was assassinated just days ago at Utah Valley University.

As vigils and ceremonies are taking place across the country to honor republican figure Charlie Kirk, in north Spokane at Franklin Park, people say and tell KREM 2 they are taking to the streets as they're honoring his message and his legacy.
