Romance plots in Boruto have become somewhat common, with those involving Boruto, Sarada, and Sumire taking the center stage. However, amidst these, there is one ship that was hinted at as early as episode 33 of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime. Surprisingly, the same has now been hinted to be canon in the manga.

As fans may recall, Inojin had developed a soft spot for Himawari in the original Boruto anime . Later, the sequel manga Boruto: Two Blue Vortex built up on that relationship, hinting at Inojin's feelings for Himawari . Surprisingly, the manga is not planning to slow down with the ship and is set to explore it further in the next chapter .
