TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Police in Terre Haute arrested a man Saturday for allegedly threatening a Pride festival.
According to a release from the Terre Haute Police Department , on Sept. 13 officers were informed about a potential threat being directed toward the Terre Haute Pride Festival at Fairbanks Park.
Officers arrived at the park and immediately began an investigation. Police say the investigation quickly revealed the suspect was a 22-year-old man. Police took the suspect into custody before the event ever started.

The suspect was arrested on a preliminary charge of felony intimidation. Online jail records show he is being held at the Vigo County Jail without bond.
