COHOES, N.Y. (WCAX) - The New York State Police are actively investigating a homicide that occurred on Earl Lynn Court in Cohoes, New York Sunday.

Investigators say that the suspect, 53-year-old Anthony Bechand, remains at large and may be armed and dangerous.

Bechand is described as a white male, roughly 5’11″ and about 180 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.

Officials located the 2024 Chevy Silverado he was believed to have been traveling in on County Rte 60 at the intersection of County Rte 86 in the town of Brighton.

Anyone who has seen Bechand or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the New York State Police. Police ask that you do not approach him.
