MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings will be without center Ryan Kelly for the remainder of Sunday night's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
The team ruled Kelly out after placing him in concussion protocol following an injury in the first half. Kelly, a free agent signing for the Vikings, has had a history of concussions, including two in 2023 when he was with the Indianapolis Colts. Michael Jurgens, a seventh-round pick in 2024, stepped in for Kelly when he left the game.
The Falcons' pass rush has been a problem for the Vikings, pressuring quarterback J.J. McCarthy all night. Through three quarters, McCarthy had been sacked five times for a loss of 28 yards.
