Melbourne man Duncan John Lancelot Stewart has received an 18-month suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to trading Kidman Resources shares in 2019 while in possession of inside information about a $776 million acquisition by Wesfarmers.

Stewart will also have to pay $64,975.48 within four weeks under the sentence handed down on Monday by Victorian County Court Judge Diana Manova. Loading...
