Is Hacks ending after season 5 or not?

Hannah Einbinder began her Emmy night by telling Variety on the red carpet that season 5 will mark the last season of Hacks . But she quickly tempered those comments after winning in the supporting actress category by saying it was ultimately up to the creators.

“Paul, Jen and Lucia are the true arbiters of that being true, ultimately,” she said backstage at the Emmys about Jen Statsky, Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs. “But I think the original plan was that they saw a five-season arc in their initial pitch for the show.”
