As a tribute to The Golden Girls ’s 40th anniversary at the 2025 Emmy Awards , McEntire, along with the women of Little Big Town, sang the show’s iconic theme song, “Thank You for Being a Friend.” While they serenaded the audience, the celebrities caught on camera looked pleased as punch to be there. Sarah Paulson snapped along peppily; Shrinking ’s Jessica Williams and Michael Urie sang along with the song with big, delighted smiles on their faces; Colin Farrell pursed his lips and snapped while nodding; Connie Britton was on her phone, but even she was smiling. Who has a reason to smile at their phones these days? Only people listening to Reba, obviously.
