NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — If you are not a fan of the weather we have seen over the past week then turn away for the next few days. This is the definition of a persistence forecast where we just see the same setup day after day.

Look for low 90s to start the week with afternoon highs staying 91-92 through the middle of the week. Overnight lows will continue to drop into the upper 60s north and low to mid 70s south.

This is the last official week of summer but there is no sign of fall weather anytime soon. We may see a few showers popping up later in the week but even those chances look small.
