Sorry BeyHive – Beyoncé did not attend the 2025 Emmy Awards .

Prior to the big event, it was speculated that the 44-year-old “16 Carriages” entertainer and husband Jay-Z may be in attendance for the awards show that was held on Sunday (September 14) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The world famous couple ended up skipping the event, despite being nominated against each other in the Outstanding Variety Special (Live) category.

Beyoncé was nominated for Beyoncé Bowl , Netflix’s standalone special of her NFL Christmas Day Halftime Show in her native Houston.

Jay-Z , 55, was nominated for producing Kendrick Lamar ’s Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show.

They ended losing to Saturday Night Live ’s 50th anniversary special.
