We would be lying if we told you that Charley Hull has never been as close to winning a major as she was at the 2025 AIG Women’s Open. As she admitted, she has one of the highest runner-up finishes among women’s golf in majors at four. She is second only to Ayako Okamoto, who has finished in second place on six different occasions. But that hasn’t made her quit her dream of winning a major once in her career. And Hull expressed the sentiment recently during an interview.

Hull joined Kelly Cates for the latest episode of The Pursuit on YouTube. During one of the segments, the English pro was describing her recent struggles: “British Open, last week, I didn’t have the best preparation coming into it. Obviously, I was ill. I hurt my back.” Just a few weeks before the AIG Women’s Open,
