TUALATIN Ore. (KPTV) - Stored rechargeable batteries started a fire in a Tualatin commercial building late Saturday night, according to Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.
Just before midnight, crews responded to 19400 Southwest 125th Court and found smoke pouring out of multiple bay doors.
Due to the size of the building and the smoke, firefighters called for a second alarm.
After confirming that no one was inside, crews were able to quickly get the fire under control.
A fire investigator determined the fire was started by lithium-ion batteries being stored in the building.
