Daria "Ga" (Marafioti) Kostek Schenectady - Daria Kostek (nee: Marafioti), 67, affectionately known to all as "Ga" passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Ellis Hospital with her family by her side after a long but courageous battle with multiple health issues.

Born on September 26, 1957, in Catskill, New York, the daughter of the late Joseph Sr., and Armida (nee: Lappa) Marafioti. Graduating from St. Patrick's Central High School in 1975 with fond memories and life-long friendships, Daria continued her educational journey at Hudson Valley Community College, where she completed the Dental Hygiene program in 1978.
