Praise Kier: Britt Lower is a winner at the Emmys 2025 .

The Severance star took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the Sept. 14 ceremony, beating out Matlock ’s Kathy Bates , The Last of Us ' Bella Ramsey , Severance 's Britt Lower , The Diplomat 's Keri Russell and Bad Sisters ' Sharon Horgan . Taking the stage at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, Britt opened a piece of paper with what appeared to be a nod to her character Helly R. written on the back, reading, "LET ME OUT."
