Fremantle AFLW star Hayley Miller says the Dockers’ resolve remained steadfast during their three-game skid, but they are not about to down tools in the aftermath of their derby win over West Coast.
Miller was one of several Fremantle veterans who stood up in the heat of battle, kicking what proved to be the decisive goal in the final quarter as her side once more deprived the Eagles of a derby win.
After a seven-point win extended Fremantle’s AFLW derby winning streak to eight games, Miller said the victory came at the perfect time following their preceding poor form.
“It has been a pretty tough couple of weeks so it’s nice to get some reward for effort,” Miller said.
