Star 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy might be available for the team’s home opener against Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals next weekend.

Coach Kyle Shanahan shared the latest on Purdy, who missed San Francisco’s 26-21 win over the New Orleans Saints with turf toe, postgame with reporters on Sunday at Caesars Superdome.

“I think there’s a chance,” Shanahan said. “But we got to see how the toe goes. It’s very up to debate. So we’re just taking it a day at a time.”

Purdy finished 26-for-35 with two touchdowns, two interceptions and an injured toe in the 49ers’ 17-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1 at Lumen Field.
