Temperatures are dropping. School is back in session. And, the season of respiratory illness is upon us.
Delaware is no stranger to the flu, as the state has already seen roughly 13,022 cases from September 2024 to May 2025.
But this year is a little different. Several big-name pharmacies continue to announce plans to close locations across the nation – shuttering stores that offered free flu shots, COVID-19 vaccinations and other inoculations to the public.
