Determining which former high school football player was the best in the Coachella Valley over the last 25 seasons was not a task we at The Desert Sun took lightly. But then we began talking to former coaches and players and looking closely at the statistics and accolades and it became fairly clear.

We took on the task of ranking the top 100 high school football players from the valley over the last 25 seasons (2000-24) and are now down to the final 25 players. This grouping includes the players who received consideration for the top spot, and gives those in it surely some bragging rights.
