Tyler Robinson, the man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk, lived with a romantic partner who is transgender and cooperating with authorities, Utah Governor Spencer Cox has said.

"The roommate was a romantic partner, a male transitioning to female," Cox said during an appearance on CNN on Sunday. "This partner has been very cooperative, had no idea that this was happening."

The conservative founder of Turning Point USA was killed as he spoke at Utah Valley University on September 10.
