INDIANAPOLIS – Crews responded early Monday morning to a building fire on the near south side of Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Fire Department was dispatched around 12:45 a.m. to the 2900 block of Shelby Street. Firefighters encountered heavy fire at the vacant two-story building.

Crews had the fire under control in less than 15 minutes.

No one was hurt. The cause remains under investigation.
