Interviews have begun to find a new housing developer to help unlock Kenilworth Rugby Football Club's move across town.

The search for a new partner began after Bloor Homes confirmed it was withdrawing from the process earlier this year.

The developer was due to purchase the existing Glasshouse Lane sites and turn them into new homes, to help finance the club's move to Warwick Road, which has already been granted planning permission.

Last month the club confirmed it was working at pace to find a new partner to move the project forward.

And an update shared on Friday by KRFC chair Paul Fountaine said further progress had been made.
